Over 200 listeners paid their own way to join Roger’s broadcast and lobby the new Congress in Washington, D.C. The event became known as “Hold Their Feet To The Fire”. Roger has been coming back to Washington each year since. In 2008, over 40 other talk hosts from around the nation participated in Hold Their Feet to the Fire, putting pressure on Congress to enact True Immigration Reform. After 9/11, Roger and his listeners started Homefront San Diego, an organization that provided thousands of military families with cars, furniture, food and other assistance. Hedgecock is a columnist and an author of the recently published three book series: The 2008 Conservative Field Guide to: # 1. Immigration, # 2. The War and # 3. Healthcare.
